Serene Morning Senior Session | Aubrey

Sometimes, the best moments happen when you embrace spontaneity. That was exactly the case with Aubrey’s senior photo session. We utilized some stunning flower and tall grass fields, and on a last-minute whim, we decided to head downtown to catch a few extra shots by the water, and I’m beyond glad we did. The peaceful vibe of the morning, paired with the soft light and calm waterfront, created the perfect setting for a relaxed and beautiful shoot.

Aubrey showed up radiating confidence and joy, and the way she lit up against the backdrop of the water was pure magic. She wore a textured white crop top with light-wash jeans and nude sandals—effortlessly stylish and so perfect for the mood of the session. There’s something timeless and fresh about her look that worked so well with the natural tones of the boardwalk and water behind her.

The downtown area gave us a serene, quiet atmosphere which was an ideal canvas to capture Aubrey’s sweet spirit. From the gentle ripples of the lake to the soft overcast skies, every element came together in such a harmonious way. We even got lucky with a few hidden spots where we could sneak in some extra photos right by the railing overlooking the water.

Aubrey made this session so enjoyable—her energy, ease, and willingness to go with the flow brought so much life to these shots. Moments like these are what make photography so special: capturing someone exactly as they are in a space that feels authentic and beautiful.
