One-Year Anniversary Shoot

Some couples have a way of lighting up a room with their love, and Bridget and Nemanja are no exception. It was an absolute joy to capture their one-year anniversary photoshoot—full of fun, romance, and a touch of spice.

Bridget and Nemanja wanted their shoot to reflect the spirit of celebration. The vision? A relaxed, “let’s grab a cocktail and toast to one year of marriage” vibe, filled with fun and intimacy. We chose a cozy bar in Milwaukee, Ash Hearth and Bar in the Iron Horse Hotel, as the backdrop, a perfect blend of character and charm. The bars warm ambiance, delicious cocktails, and inviting spaces provided the perfect setting for this special shoot.

This shoot held a special significance for me because it was a reunion with Bridget and Nemanja. They were one of my giveaway winners, and seeing them in front of the camera again felt like reconnecting with old friends. It was incredible to see how their love had deepened over the year, and the joy they brought to this session was infectious.

We started indoors, where the brewery staff graciously allowed us to use their intimate bar area. The cozy lighting lent itself beautifully to some editorial-style flash photography. Between clinking glasses and sharing laughter, the love between Bridget and Nemanja shone through every frame.

Though the outdoor space looked inviting, it was bustling with activity, so we stayed inside and embraced the cozy, romantic atmosphere. The result? A collection of photos that felt authentic, warm, and just a little bit spicy—perfect for capturing this milestone in their lives.

Life Lately

One of my favorite parts of the evening was what came after the camera clicks. We ended up sitting down, finishing our drinks, and chatting about life. It was a beautiful reminder of why I love what I do—it’s not just about capturing memories but about building connections and celebrating people’s stories.
