Golden Hour Senior Session | Hailey

Here’s yet another one of my AMAZING seniors, Hailey! I recently got to photograph her outdoor golden hour senior session and it was simply perfect. We had the shoot at golden hour which is the time of day as the sun is setting and casts a beautiful warm glow. The lighting effortlessly enhanced the natural beauty of both Hailey and the surrounding environment. It added an ethereal and dreamy quality to the photographs and I’m so obsessed. Hailey is such an extraordinary young woman and we had the absolute best time ever during her session!

Firstly, the ambiance of a shoot is heavily influenced by the location. So for Hailey’s senior session we were fortunate enough to find a picturesque field of flowers. This really added a touch of magic to the entire experience. The vibrant colors and the contrast against the golden light created a whimsical backdrop that perfectly complemented Hailey’s radiant personality. Timing is everything when it comes to golden hour sessions. We aimed to start the shoot about an hour before sunset to make the most of the soft, warm, and diffused light. Throughout the session, I ensured that Hailey felt comfortable by providing guidance and suggestions for posing. We balanced between candid shots and more intentional poses to create a unique gallery that reflected her beautiful spirit.

Overall, Hailey’s outdoor senior session was nothing short of enchanting. The combination of the incredible location, perfect timing, carefully chosen outfits, and beautiful light made for an unforgettable experience. As a photographer, capturing moments that celebrate the unique spirit of each senior is truly magical. She is a spectacular and brilliant girl and has worked so hard to be able to graduate. I can not wait to see all of the incredible things she will do in this world!!
