Outdoor Engagement Session | Sam + Michael

Last November I had the privilege of capturing an outdoor engagement session of a beautiful couple here in Wisconsin. With the city off in the distance and the natural beauty surrounding us, there was no better setting for this special day. The crisp fall air and vibrant colors of the season created a stunning backdrop for their photos. We were lucky enough to have found a couple of really amazing spots to get some great portraits of Sam and Michael. It was such a magical day!

We began our session on the pathway next to the lake, with big beautiful rocks lining the edge and the city behind us. They were so natural in front of the camera, the love they have for each other was so stunning to witness. Next, we found a gorgeous stone historic house, and then a huge brick building covered in vines and red leaves. Finally, they finished off the session by popping some champagne, and eating some delicious donuts!

Overall, Sam and Michael were a joy to be around and it was a super fun afternoon spent capturing beautiful moments of them. It’s days like these that make my job as a photographer so special. Being able to capture the special moments between two people is an honor and I feel so lucky every time I get to do it. This particular outdoor engagement session was truly a unique experience and I’m so thankful to have been able to capture it for them. I hope they cherish these pictures for many years to come!
