Waterfall Elopement | Kaitlyn + Tyler

Recently, I had the incredible honor of photographing this sweet couple’s dreamy waterfall elopement. The sound of the water combined with the forest surrounding us made us feel like we were in our own secret world. The day before the ceremony, the couple wanted some adventure shots! I loved this idea, it was so fun! We explored all around the area and they walked across logs, climbed the rocks, and even ended up splashing around in the water. I thought it was such a cool idea to get shots before the big day.

Now, onto the elopement! Firstly, they rented a gorgeous AirBnb that felt so warm and homey for them to get ready in. Next, we made our way to the forest where the waterfall was waiting for us. The peacefulness of the surrounding area made it the perfect location for the couple’s special day. I began taking pictures as soon as we arrived not wanting to miss a single detail. I was able to capture the couple’s sweet embraces and intimate moments as they exchanged vows and sealed it with a kiss.

The entire experience was pure magic, and I hope these memories will stay with them forever. They really couldn’t have chosen a more gorgeous and serene place for them to say ‘I do’. As their photographer, I was honored to be able to capture their waterfall elopement and to help the couple create memories that they can cherish and look back on. Overall, the beauty and joy of this day is something I’ll never forget!
