Wedding Day At The Southerly Warehouse | Sarah + Jamal

It was such an honor to be a part of Sarah and Jamal’s wedding day at the Southerly Warehouse in Opelika, AL. The setting was truly breathtaking, with its rustic brick walls, wood beams, and exposed brick. The bright and airy space was the perfect backdrop for a beautiful and romantic ceremony. They were such a joy to be around, and the day was full of joy, love, and lots of laughter.

The day started out with capturing some getting ready shots of the bride and her bridal party. Next, the bride and groom wanted to do a ‘first touch’. This is before they actually see each other they stand on either side of a door and get to talk and hold hands. Personally, I love when couple’s decide to do this. It’s so intimate and special for the couple. The ceremony was absolutely gorgeous. They wrote their own vows and I think they had just about everyone in tears! The couple’s love for each other was evident in every moment.

Finally, the reception was such a party! From the dance floor to the seating area, the decor was just perfect. With plenty of delicious food, drinks, and music, everyone was having a ball. This venue provides a unique and romantic setting for weddings, and I was glad to be a part of such a special day. It was a pleasure capturing the couple’s special moments, and I hope they cherish these wonderful memories of their wedding day at the Southerly Warehouse for years to come.
